Team Management
Invite team members and control what each person can see and do in Rheopay.
Team Management
Rheopay supports multiple users per merchant account. Each user is assigned a role that determines what they can access and do.
Roles
| Role | Who it is for | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Owner | The account creator | Full access to everything including billing, payment provider credentials, and deleting the account. There is exactly one Owner per account. |
| Admin | Senior team leads | Everything the Owner can do except deleting the account and transferring ownership. |
| Manager | Operations managers | Create, edit, and manage payment links, customers, and products. Access analytics. Cannot change payment provider credentials or billing. |
| Agent | Sales or support staff | Create and manage payment links. View customers. No access to settings, analytics, or financial data. |
| Viewer | Read-only stakeholders | View links and transactions. Cannot create, edit, or delete anything. |
The Owner can assign any role to any team member. Admins can assign roles up to but not including Owner and Admin.
Inviting a team member
Go to Settings → Team → Invite Member and enter:
- Email address — the invitation is sent to this address.
- Role — the role they will have on joining.
- Name (optional) — display name shown in the team list.
The invited person receives an email with a sign-up link. After they create their account they are automatically added to your merchant account with the assigned role.
You can see and cancel pending invitations from the Settings → Team page until the person accepts.
Changing a role
- Go to Settings → Team.
- Find the team member and click Edit.
- Select the new role and save.
The change takes effect immediately. The user's next action is governed by their new role.
Removing a team member
Go to Settings → Team, find the member, and click Remove. This revokes their access immediately. Their past activity remains in the audit log.
The Owner cannot be removed from the account. To transfer ownership, contact support.
